Becoming an Author

Let's be open and honest, shall we?

We all have been taught that articles are a method of promoting yourself. It's basically Internet Marketing 101.  I'm all in favor of promoting your website and helping you show people what an expert you are in your field. And, I'm all in favor of providing you the opportunity of a quality link to your site through your article submission.

BUT!

I am also in favor of our visitors getting quality information and not a bunch of spam advertising. So, if you have quality content and you would like to post on our site, then use the contact link to request author access. Or, just sign up as an author and submit your article and resource box and we'll see if it's a good fit.

All articles are monitored or moderated. No articles are instantly posted unless you've earned the designation to be called a "Trusted Author."

YOU MUST REGISTER AND YOU MUST POST THE ARTICLE UNDER YOUR NAME AS AUTHOR. GUEST POSTS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DECLINED!

We DECLINE all posts immediately when we see that you are asking our visitors to enter confidential information on a site with no encryption, no LEGITIMATE contact information (an e-mail address does not constitute LEGITIMATE contact information!), and you are promoting loans, payday loans, or other such financial services and you are not licensed! I'm really not sure what some of you are up to with this, whether it's preying on people for identity theft, or you are legitimately generating leads, but it's not acceptable! So don't waste your time posting. We will decline it immediately!

No spam. No porn (we're a family friendly site). And please take the time to proofread your article and use spell check!

Links must lead to English sites. We do not accept articles in other languages. Our visitors are English speaking.

We would also request that you resist the immediate impulse to post a review of a product or service that you are an affilaite of.  We want quality, not quantity of posts here.

Finally, there is a linking icon in the interface. USE IT! I no longer have the time to fix your links and if the format is not correct, I will automatically decline the article.
