You may have heard that Eric Schmidt, Google CEO has decided to endorse Obama for the presidency and has hit the campaign trail. But that may make you wonder why? Maybe just a little bit?
Here’s what I think has happened!
Do you remember my blog post about the first Presidential debate? I said that Google won because of the comments about “YouTube” moments, and Googlizing the federal budget.
Of course Obama called for Googlizing the federable budget but CNN’s, Donna Brazile, was the one who referenced the no “YouTube” moments.
Well, what I believe happened is that Eric Schmidt and all the Google employees have a Google alert set up to notify them when someone posts a blog about Google. And since I posted this one (along with many other nasty reviews of their new Chrome) about Google winning the debate, Eric Schmidt decided to take me up on the preparations for Googlizing the federal budget!
In fact, I even told Google to get ready!
I LOVE the idea! You can search for programming code, answers to your most probing questions, and even get definitions from Google. Why not get the Federal Budget!
(Note to Google: If the polls are correct as to the winner last night – Obama – you’d better get busy on building the framework for it!)
I think Schmidt sees the value in what I’m talking about here! He knows I’m a futuristic thinker and knows how much money can be made not only on this big government contract but also on the electronic storage of those health care records Obama wants to accomplish.
So why not support and campaign for the guy you want business from!
I mean, you know we’ve heard that Microsoft’s been working to get this whole thing going with storing medical records, but come on, honestly, who would you trust? Google or Microsoft?
Even though we’ve reported on the big brother thing with both Microsoft and Google, Google has had far less security issues and breaches then we know we have with Microsoft! So who would you trust?
Enough said?
So, I’m going on the record, yet again, to say you heard it here first!
When Obama wins and the federal budget goes live on Google and Google wins the bid for electronic storage of health care records, remember you read it here first!
I wish I could see the look on Steve Ballmer’s face right now. He’s probably thinking, “Damn! Why didn’t I think of that!
Hey Ballmer! You should start reading my blog!
ROFLMAO
And to Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, you rock dude! (Is that still an acceptable form of colloquialism? Gosh, I sound like Sheldon on Big Bang!)
Eric Schmidt, you go on with your bad campaigning self!
And yes, for those of you who are wondering, I, Debbie Mahler, small business owner of this company and website who makes under – WAY UNDER – $100,000 per year is supporting Barack Obama. I would love to see my company take in even $100,000 in sales – period! Hey McCain! You want to buy a few ebooks? Maybe a course or two?? My bad!
Tomorrow, why I gave away over $5,000 to a newer web client. You won’t want to miss that!
